Kalyon Güneş Teknolojileri Üretim A.Ş.N TYPE TOPCON - DOUBLE GLASS BIFACIAL HALF CUT FRAMED PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULE
The N-Type
TOPCON – Double Glass Bifacial Half Cut Framed Photovoltaic Module,
manufactured by Kalyon PV, is a high-efficiency, half-cell, dual-glass solar
panel. This EPD covers the environmental performance of the module, which is
produced entirely at Kalyon PV’s integrated facility in Ankara, Türkiye. Only
the module assembly stage is included, as the solar cells are procured
externally.
The
assessed module weighs approximately 32 ±0.5 kg, with a total panel area of
2.59 m². It consists of 144 half-cut N-type TOPCON monocrystalline cells, each
measuring 182 mm × 91 mm. The cells are encapsulated between two 2 mm
anti-reflective tempered glass layers using POE encapsulant, framed with
anodized aluminum, and integrated with a three-part junction box to form a
sealed and durable unit.
The module
supports a system voltage of 1500 VDC and provides robust mechanical strength
withstanding up to +5400 Pa front load and −3600 Pa rear load. With dimensions
of 2285 mm × 1134 mm, it is ideal for utility-scale and high-performance
photovoltaic installations. The product complies with IEC 61215, IEC 61730, and
UL 61730 standards and is classified with Fire Rating Type 2 (IEC) / Flame
Spread Class 29.
