Blocky fabrics are blackout materials with the ability to block 100,000 lux
of light. The Blocky product range is certified with Greenguard Gold and
manufactured in compliance with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and REACH regulations.
Depending on demand, it can be used as roller blinds or drapery with hard or
soft coating options. These fabrics feature high durability and easy-to-clean
properties. Additionally, they are free from PVC and heavy metals.

Berteks Tekstil has been a family-owned business in the textile industry since 1922 and has been located in the Bursa Demirtaş Organized Industrial Zone, the largest industrial zone in Bursa, since 1983.The integrated production facility spans approximately 80,000 m², where it has been managed all stages of fabric production in-house.As part of the Berteks Group of Companies, Berteks Tekstil has a 100-year history and is currently led by the fourth generation of the family. With a wealth of knowledge, experience, and continuous innovation through new technologies, it is recognized as one of the industry leaders, committed to providing exceptional service and maintaining high production standards. Berteks exports 85% of its home textile products to over 50 countries across five continents, including Europe, Australia, and the United States.
As the importance of sustainable production continues to grow, Berteks Tekstil contributes to sustainability by improving processes and raw materials to optimize the use of raw materials, water, and energy, while incorporating more eco-friendly designs. A portion of the energy consumed in the company’s production is sourced from solar energy which comes from the solar panels installed on the roof of the production facility in 2022. Once the ongoing land-based solar energy project is completed, Berteks Tekstil aims to source 100% of its electricity from renewable energy. The company plans to have the facility operational by 2025.
